How much does a custom banner cost?
Whatever the calculator above says — that's the whole point. Pick your size and material and the price updates live, per square foot, with finishing options itemized. Bundle discounts apply automatically as quantity grows, and the price you see is the price you pay.
Which material should I choose?
13oz vinyl handles almost everything, indoors or out — start there. Go 18oz for long-term outdoor use or rough handling, mesh anywhere wind is a factor (fence lines, open lots — the weave lets gusts pass through), and fabric for indoor settings where people stand close. Unsure? Tell us where it's hanging and we'll recommend honestly.
How big should my banner be?
Work from reading distance: roughly one inch of letter height per ten feet of viewing distance, so a banner read from the road needs far bigger text than one in a lobby. Measure the wall or fence first — the most common mistake is ordering two feet too small for the space. Want a sanity check? Send a phone photo of the spot with your quote request.
Do I need grommets, a pole pocket, or wind slits?
Grommets (metal rings spaced along the edges) are right for most banners — zip ties, rope, or bungees go through them. Choose a pole pocket when the banner hangs from a rod or between posts. Wind slits help large banners survive open, gusty placements — though if wind is the main concern, mesh is usually the better answer.
What file type do you need?
Vector files (AI, EPS, PDF) are ideal — they scale to any banner size with no quality loss. A high-resolution PNG can work too. And if all you have is an idea, that works: our designers build banner artwork from scratch, and you approve the proof before we print.
Will I see a proof before it prints?
Always. Every banner order gets a proof you approve before anything touches ink — whether you uploaded finished files or we designed it together. Nothing prints on assumption.
